GloRilla clapped back at X users who compared her to a woman with badly done makeup.
A woman’s before-and-after makeup photos went viral over the weekend. While the first showed her natural face, the second featured poorly applied makeup with foundation several shades too dark and unblended contour, blush, eyeshadow, and black lipliner.
As the photos circulated on X (formerly Twitter), people started comparing the woman to Glo, who quickly jumped online to defend herself.
“I’m looking thru dem quotes of dat ugly makeup girl & everybody dat say it look like me im in yall [n***a] dm right now,” the Memphis rapper wrote.
The “Procedure” rapper faced her own makeup controversy last October when Atlanta-based stylist Angelica White posted an Instagram reel showing Glo during a session.
One clip showed Glo before her eyeshadow was set, and she wasn’t happy about the video being shared without her permission.
“& At da end of da day dat makeup was ugly den a bitch,” Glo wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I just had blew up & was constantly getting free fuck ups she been was told not to post dat shit you can tell I hated it on da pictures I just use to be scared to tell people Dey can’t record cause I hate being mean.”
