DDG boldly claims he’s among history’s most influential content creators.
During Complex’s 360 With Speedy, the 27-year-old streamer didn’t hesitate when asked to name this generation’s top three content creators.
“I would say I’m one of the most influential content creators of all time,” DDG declared around the seven-minute mark.
When Morman questioned why, DDG explained: “I motivated a lot of people. I’ve inspired a lot of people. You know, just me coming from a very regular environment and making it to where I’m at, documenting the whole thing, and making it funny and entertaining at the same time.”
He mentioned numerous people have told him they became millionaires after being inspired by his journey.
Answering Speedy’s original question, DDG listed himself, Kai Cenat, and after brief contemplation, Plaqueboymax as the top three.
“People would say [iShow]Speed though. But I feel like Speed is in the lane of, like, you can’t redo what Speed doing,” DDG continued. “Only Speed can do what Speed do. He’s very entertaining, but can he create another speed, you know?”
He elaborated, “It can be another Max, it can be another DDG, it can be another Kai, can’t be another Speed. So we have influence for people to actually make it to the point that we’re at.”
