Nashville’s getting an upscale drinking spot with the upcoming launch of Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop. If you’re not familiar, Nashville’s Lower Broadway area is packed with bars and honky-tonks bearing famous names. Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop has teamed up with Nashville Live! for this new venture.
Set to welcome guests on April 4, the lounge is housed in the four-story historic building that’s home to the Nashville Live! entertainment complex. According to press materials, Still G.I.N. promises to deliver locals and visitors an “elevated” nightlife experience inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s West Coast heritage and “Southern soul.”
The drink menu features specialty cocktails like the Platinum Negroni, the Bee’s Knees, the OG-OF, and the Nashville Nightcap. For entertainment, Nashville Live! says patrons can expect both DJ sets and live shows, focusing on “hip-hop, R&B, and funk.”
Most celebrity bars in Nashville are predictably country-focused, with Morgan Wallen and Garth Brooks among the stars with Broadway establishments. Last year, Jon Bon Jovi brought a rock edge to the whiskey and Delta 8-filled Broadway scene with his JBJ’s bar and restaurant, meaning Still G.I.N. Lounge won’t be the only place offering partiers something different during their night out.
Dre and Snoop are already well-established in the alcohol business. They launched their Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop canned cocktail line in February 2024, followed by their premium Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop gin that October. Last year also featured a HARDY version of Snoop’s Dre-produced 1994 hit “Gin & Juice” along with a short film.
More recently, Snoop was seen hanging around Nashville with another Big Loud artist, ERNEST. Back in January, Ern hinted that he and Snoop had created a new track together, appropriately named “Gettin’ Gone.”
