Playboi Carti and Offset’s Collab ‘Set It Off’ Lands on Nav’s New Album ‘OMW2 Rexdale’

Nav’s latest album OMW2 Rexdale has arrived—featuring a Playboi Carti track fans might recognize.

Their collaboration “Unlimited” was originally Offset’s song “Rock Out” with Carti that was meant for the Migos member’s 2023 album Set It Off. However, Carti never gave the sample clearance.

Instead, the track ended up with Nav and now includes The Weeknd. Offset previewed the song at his listening event in fall 2023, showing his enthusiasm for its release.

Offset later addressed Carti’s absence from his album.

“Shoutout to my boy man ’cause I don’t get into it with n***as about music,” Offset explained on The Breakfast Club. “Sometimes people be going through their own…you know what I’m saying? Shout out to bro, though, man. He should’ve cleared that muthafucker smashed, though. I ain’t gonna cap.”

He added, “But it be like that. I don’t get mad at folks for acting like that cause sometimes people be going through their own little shit, or they might not want or I don’t know. It’s all love, though that’s my little bro, no matter what.”

On the track, Cash Carti drops a mysterious line about an enemy, saying: “I pushed that button, I had my opp on Good Morning America.” It’s not clear who he’s talking about.
