Melyssa Ford called out Drake for using her image on a hoodie he’s selling on his website.
During the newest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Ford shared her thoughts about the hooded sweatshirt from the 6 God’s fresh $ome $exy $ongs 4 U merchandise line.
Ford revealed she had no idea about Drake’s merch plans, which showcase a picture of her alongside a link directing people to Budden’s Patreon.
“What the fuck is going on?” Ford said before demanding payment from Drake for using her image. “Where’s my check? Where’s my fucking check? That’s what the fuck I want to know.”
When Budden asked if she got paid for the picture, Ford replied, “No! I woke up to it. And I’m just like, ‘I have bigger fish to fry than this shit right now.'”
Ford hinted there’s a “possibility” she owns the rights to the photo, as it might be from her first calendar photoshoot. She mentioned she reached out to Drake through DM to address the situation.
Budden said he hopes the hoodie sells out completely and that people click the link leading to his Patreon.
“I hope that motherfucker sells boy,” Budden said. “Type in the website. Type in the Melyssa Ford Drake website.”
The hoodie drama follows Drake’s mention of Ford and Budden on the track “GIMME A HUG” from his joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
“Melyssa Ford, you a legend from the 6, hate to see you with a dick-sucker,” he rapped.
