The iconic Miami hitmaker Pitbull, famous for his uplifting social media presence, dropped some motivational wisdom on his followers Wednesday.
“The word impossible says I’M POSSIBLE,” declared Mr. 305.
The response to his tweet was divided – some fans welcomed the encouraging message as a breath of fresh air amid announcements about rising tariffs and other gloomy world events. With Americans struggling under the weight of daily responsibilities and career pressures, a little inspiration can go a long way.
Others, however, found Pitbull’s observation a bit cheesy. Dictionary publisher Merriam-Webster even stepped in to give him a mini-lesson about the word’s prefix.
Among the amusing responses, one Twitter user joked that “this week’s therapist session is CANCELLED,” while another compared the chart-topping rapper to William Shakespeare. But Pitbull continues to delight his followers with playful tweets, previously sharing wisdom like “What comes quick, leaves quicker. It’s about a slow but fo’sho 100 [100 emoji].”
Perhaps Pitbull’s infectious positivity explains why Doja Cat included him in her “Big 3” last year alongside Baby Bash and Chingy. Also in that year, Flavor Flav called for the protection of Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, and other artists with canine-inspired names when President Donald Trump claimed that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were consuming pets.
