Eminem has officially entered grandpa territory!
His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, has welcomed her first child with husband Evan McClintock – a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock. She shared the happy news on Instagram, posting “Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” along with photos of her newborn son, revealing he arrived on March 14 and shares a special connection with Em.
Hailie’s baby boy’s middle name is Marshall, a touching tribute to Eminem’s real first name.
According to People, the 29-year-old expressed her excitement about becoming a mom on a recent episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast.
“I can’t even wrap my head around it,” Scott shared. “I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he gonna look like? … What’s his personality gonna be [like]? It’s strange but super exciting.”
Eminem discovered his daughter was expecting back in October. That same month, he dropped a music video for his track “Temporary,” featuring nostalgic home video footage of Hailie. The video also includes a heartwarming moment where Scott reveals her pregnancy to her father by giving him a blue Detroit Lions-style jersey with “Grandpa” on the back and a sonogram picture.
