21 Savage is considering a fresh hairstyle inspired by a West Coast hip-hop icon.
On Tuesday, the rapper posted a mirror selfie on Instagram showing off his voluminous blowout with the caption: “thinking about going throwback snoop on you female dogs.”
21 is nodding to when Snoop Dogg sported longer locks around the time of his 1996 album, Tha Doggfather. Snoop, famous for his iconic braids back then, would bring the style back several times over the years.
21’s fresh hairstyle pic got likes from Drake, Quavo, and Zack Bia. No word yet on whether this new look is permanent.
The hair change follows similar style switches from other stars in the entertainment world—like Drake, who ditched his braids for a short, neat cut last November.
For his role as Bob Dylan in the A Complete Unknown biopic, Timothée Chalamet showed up with blonde bangs at the film’s New York premiere in December 2024.
