Eric Andre shared a story about missing his shot with Madonna because he was too intimidated to message her back.
During a chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian revealed how Madonna slid into his DMs after he mooned the audience at one of her Los Angeles concerts last month. The 66-year-old pop icon found his prank hilarious and reached out, but Andre chickened out.
“Madonna has a bit of a crush on me. Not to brag,” Andre said while unbuttoning his shirt and rubbing his nipple. “She slid in my DMs […] I don’t want to put her on Front Street, but you know, there was a little bit of chemistry between us. It was some flirtation […] I’m way too intimidated by Madonna, that’s the Queen of Pop, you can’t just waltz in there.”
He continued, “You got to come in roses, you gotta play Boyz II Men, you gotta drip chocolate candles […] she slept with 2Pac and [Jean-Michel] Basquiat, you gotta bring your A game […] I had interest, and my sister called me, and she goes, ‘You need to bang Madonna, and I’m not taking no as an answer,’ and she hung up on me.”
Andre wrapped up his story by declaring he now has the guts to message Madonna and get it on with her right on Kimmel’s desk. Kimmel could only joke that Andre definitely knows “how to romance a lady.”
On the subject of Madonna’s relationship with 2Pac, Rosie Perez recently spilled the beans about her role in bringing the two together. According to Perez, 2Pac went with her to an award show after she got stood up by her date, and Madonna spotted them together, which sparked her interest.
“She came up to me and she was like, ‘Yo, what’s up? Y’all are together?'” she recalled. “I said, ‘No,’ she goes, ‘Really?’ I go, ‘Yeah,’ she goes, ‘Hook me up.’ I said, ‘You got it.'”
