Ye apologized to Jay-Z…sort of.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West hopped on X early Thursday morning, firing off a bunch of tweets, with one aimed at Hov.
“I’m sorry Jay Z,” Ye wrote.
“I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real shit none of these rap n***as had my back.”

Though it’s not clear which tweet he’s referring to, last month he made comments about Jay and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.
In March, Ye jumped on X, posting, “Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids?” before using the R-word to describe the children. He later took down the posts, explaining he only did it “not because I’m a good person” but because he didn’t want to get booted off the platform.
West also refused to say sorry to the Carter family after his comments.
“THERE WILL NEVER BE AN APOLOGY TO THE CARTER FAMILY UNTIL THEY HELP ME WITH MY CHILDREN,” West wrote about JAY and Beyoncé. “NAS BE GETTING ONE NA OUT OF JAIL AT A TIME TO LOOK PRESTIGIOUS. THE CARTERS AND THE KARDASHIAN ARE BASICALLY THE SAME EXCEPT THE KARDASHIANS ARE SEX TRAFFICKING.”
West seems to have plenty of thoughts about Jay and Bey’s relationship. Last August, Candace Owens shared an old interview she did with Ye from 2022, where he talked about the power couple.
“I just think Yoncé need to let him go get some pussy, seriously,” Ye said. The remark made Owens laugh, which got Ye laughing too. “Go to DR or something,” he added.
