Tommy Richman and Sexyy Red have joined forces for an amped-up remix of “Actin Up.”
The track, which first dropped in February, returns with a spicier version courtesy of Sexyy Red’s bold verses. “Bend it over, shake that ass, show that print/ Clean ass bitch, smell good, I ain’t got no scent,” is just one example of her provocative lyrics. And trust me, there’s plenty more where that came from.
The music video shows the pair living it up in Miami. Tommy Richman delivers his verses with enthusiasm across various locations, while Sexyy Red joins him to share her energy through some impressive twerking skills.
Richman shared in a statement that she was always his top pick for the remix. “When I made ‘Actin Up,’ I originally thought of Sexyy in the first place. An anthem for a rebel,” he explained.

Back in November, Richman opened up to us about why he left his two viral hits, “Million Dollar Baby” and “Devil Is a Lie,” off his debut album, Coyote.
“I wanted to make an album that you can play front to back, from the first song to the last song, and then you just play it over and over again. This is my real art side. I was trying to make a vinyl record—not trying to make a playlist,” he explained to Complex.
“In my mind, the song blew up, so everybody already knew the song,” Richman added about his surprising choice. “I wasn’t thinking about it from a logistics label standpoint. I’m like, ‘Oh, people already know the song.’ Let me put out the album.’ That’s literally the dumb elementary reasoning. But of course, if you put the song on there, the sales go up, and it looks better numbers-wise. But I just wanted to stand on business with that.”
Richman then shared how those in his circle responded to his decision to exclude his biggest tracks from the album. “With some of my friends, they understood it, and they were like, ‘Fuck yeah,’ But everybody on the other side was just like, ‘What are you doing?!'” Richman said. “I just thought it would be cool.”
