Snoop Dogg’s children unexpectedly had their first weed experience with someone other than their father.
In a recent chat with DJ Whoo Kid, Wiz Khalifa shared that he accidentally got Snoop’s sons high while filming Mac & Devin Go to High School.
“I did that to Snoop Dogg’s kids. We were shooting High School, the movie, and he was out of the trailer doing his part. And he came back in the trailer and was like, ‘Y’all little motherfuckers is high!'” Wiz recalled with a laugh.
He added, “I thought they had already smoked, though! I’m like, ‘These are Snoop’s kids, of course they smoke!’ They got high with me first. Crazy.”
The Snoop and Wiz-starring stoner flick Mac & Devin Go to High School dropped in 2012, which means Snoop’s sons Cordae and Cordell were in their mid-to-late teens when this went down.
Both artists are known for their love of weed. Last year, Khalifa admitted he shows up blazed to his son’s parent-teacher conferences.
“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” he said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.”
Uncle Snoop rolls the same way. In 2023, on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, Ed Sheeran shared a story about smoking with the Long Beach icon and Russell Crowe, who were passing “blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt.” Sheeran—who admits he doesn’t “really smoke at all”—joined in and said: “I just remember looking at him and being like, I can’t see right now.”
