XXXTentacion’s son Gekyume shared a heartfelt message to his late father in a sweet new interview.
YouTuber Brandon Sloane hung out with the six-year-old at Target where he treated the little guy to whatever toys he wanted. After picking out two Pokémon toys, Gekyume revealed he wants them because he dreams of becoming a YouTuber.
When asked if he had a message for his dad, Gekyume simply said, “That I love him.”
Gekyume also curiously asked Sloane if he had parents and whether he loved them. After Sloane answered yes to all three questions, Gekyume responded with, “Ok, that’s good.”
To wrap up their time together, Gekyume challenged Sloane to a rap battle where he showed off some skills clearly inherited from his Platinum-certified dad.

Back in 2021, Gekyume got a diamond chain with his father’s picture set in the medallion. The late rapper’s mom, Cleopatra Bernard, posted a photo of Gekyume sleeping while wearing it, writing, “Daddy is with you always my love.”
A year earlier, Gekyume’s mother, Jenesis Sanchez, wrote a heartfelt letter to XXXTentacion sharing some major milestones in their son’s life that he missed.
“I used to think where did I go wrong in a past life when I lost you. Now all I can think about is you and I must of done something right to create such a divine being. Gekyume,” she wrote. “He’s getting so big it’s crazy. To think he’s about to be two, how time’s passing.”
“He’s so grown saying words like ‘Mama,’ ‘Papa’ when he sees your photos,” she added. “It’s a bittersweet moment for me every time. He’s so handsome and has so much personality. Super intelligent, bubbly and full of energy. I can’t with his little attitude, just like yours eye roll. But lowkey warms my heart.”
