Joe Exotic is now taken. According to TMZ, the imprisoned Tiger King star wed his fellow inmate Jorge Marquez, who’s behind bars for immigration-related matters.
Exotic announced the news Monday with a photo showing him and Marquez dressed in tuxedos and white baseball caps, captioning it, “Never been more proud. Mi esposo.”
Besides tagging his new spouse, Exotic also tagged the Instagram handle @beyondbarsimaging, a service that combines photos of people in prison.
According to the report, there’s nearly a 30-year age gap between the newlyweds, with Joe at 62 while Jorge is 33. The couple got engaged at their Texas correctional facility in October.
Exotic is currently doing a 21-year stretch for planning to have his nemesis, Carole Baskin, killed. He’s previously mentioned he’s working to secure asylum for Marquez so they can be together once released. Marquez is reportedly in federal custody for living illegally in the US and is expected to be freed this year.
This marks Exotic’s second marriage. He finalized his divorce from ex-husband Dillon Passage in 2023 after they exchanged vows in 2017.
