Kanye West expressed his desire to be buddies with 50 Cent.
Ye took to X with a surprisingly wholesome post (unlike his typical controversial, offensive, and antisemitic rants). “I wish I was friends with 50,” Ye wrote. “One of my favorite rappers and people.”
In the same post, Ye also gave shout outs to Drake and Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia, writing that all three of them (including 50 Cent) are “kings in their own kingdoms.”
“But somewhere inside of a trip to nitrous town everybody is laughing and creating together,” added Ye.
Ye’s recent feelings about 50 Cent were made clear during a recent stream where he addressed the latter by saying, “50 Cent, I love what you doing over there.”
In another of Ye’s recent rants on X, he lashed out at Cam’ron for saying that he and R. Kelly put “a stain” on Chicago.
Cam’ron’s comments came in the wake of Ye releasing a snippet of the song “COUSINS” in which he claimed to have performed oral sex on his cousin when they were kids.
“I’m not saying nothing about the city of Chicago, but two of the biggest superstars ever, it’s some molestation, nasty, peeing on bitches,” Cam’ron said on an episode of It Is What It Is. “It’s a lot of shit going with two of the biggest superstars ever. I don’t know what was going on up there like that… Y’all putting a stain on a good city.”
In a now-deleted tweet from Apr. 25, Ye addressed Cam’ron’s shade.
“How Cam say I’m doing anything bad for Chicago. Chicago loves me,” wrote Ye.
“I love Cam,” Ye added. “It’s n***as like you that had me shook to release the song but I ain’t scared of y’all n***as. And thank you for making dip set.”
Not finished with his rant, Ye ended with a sprinkle of disrespect. “You’re a God,” he tweeted. “And fuck you by the way. And I got on my 2 million dollar dipset belt as I tweet.”
