Cardi B’s showing why nobody wants smoke with her—putting trolls in their place.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker fired back at now-suspended X user @ordinarycourt, who reportedly doctored Cardi’s Met Gala afterparty photos. According to AllHipHop, the user posted comparison images of Cardi’s look with the caption, “This can’t be real omg.”
Apparently, one pic was the authentic photo, supposedly from Getty Images, while the other was manipulated. Other users jumped in, also taking shots at Bardi’s appearance. It’s not clear exactly what was altered since @ordinarycourt has been booted from the platform.
Cardi shut down the troll by posting a video of herself bare-faced, lip-syncing to Lady Gaga’s “G.U.Y.”
“Am I really that bad of a bitch that y’all always gotta edit my pictures to fake try to humble me wit insults on this app?” she wrote. “Anyways no filter, no makeup, just me and this wig I had on for days. THANK YOU!!”

When another user chimed in saying, “my god she reeks of insecurity like it’s getting sad.”
Cardi shot back: “I’m insecure or do I make yall insecure to the point that you gotta go pull up my pictures then open a app and edit them because yall can’t stand how hard I step???”
On Monday at the Met Gala, Cardi collaborated with Burberry’s Creative Director, Daniel Lee to rock a green, floor-length embroidered coat with matching trousers.
For her after-party vibe, she stunned in a black lace-up corset-style gown.
