During Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering trial, an exotic dancer who allegedly worked the music mogul’s “freak-off” sex parties took the stand and opened up about his struggles with erectile dysfunction.
Sharay “The Punisher” Hayes, who testified about his involvement in these “freak-offs,” faced cross-examination from Diddy’s defense team who pressed him for more details and clarity on his previous testimony. Hayes explained that Diddy gave him “subtle directions” on how to have sex with Cassie, and made it clear he never got the impression she was under the influence or that their encounters weren’t consensual.
He also described when Diddy unexpectedly walked in on him and Cassie and tossed condoms at the couch they were sitting on. “It was not threatening, more just assertive,” he recalled, saying it threw him off balance. “I was experiencing my own anxiety too, with… I had not achieved an erection. In my thought process, the condoms I knew was going to be an obstacle for me in terms of getting an erection and maintaining one, too.”
Hayes mentioned that during this same encounter, Diddy told him he wanted him to have penetrative sex with Cassie. “It was an aggressive suggestion, that’s how I interpreted it,” he added. “It was not threatening.”
During his testimony, Hayes was also congratulated on his recently published book, which dropped earlier this month. Currently available, the full title is In Search of FREEZER MEAT: A Story of he Male Mental Health Crisis Caused by Erectile Dysfunction and the Only True Cure No One is Talking About… a Penis Implant. When asked to explain the title, he quipped, “What’s harder than freezer meat?”
Performance anxiety also came up when the prosecution questioned him, asking if he ever had “difficulty creating the scene” for Diddy at these “freak-off” gatherings. “Yes, at times, I experienced anxiety and some sexual pressure within myself,” he admitted. “So there were moments I could struggle with getting and maintaining an erection. So there were times I experienced those issues.”
When asked if his book was based on his experiences with Diddy and Cassie, Hayes said it was inspired by their “original interaction.” He clarified that the book tackles performance anxieties more broadly rather than focusing specifically on the “freak-off” encounters. He also pointed out that he doesn’t name either of them in the book, referring to them only as a wealthy married couple.
As previously mentioned, Hayes testified about his first “freak-off” gig in 2012. He said Cassie reached out to him using the alias “Janet.” According to his testimony, he was brought in for “between eight and twelve” more “freak-offs” after the initial one, earning either $1,200 or $2,000 per session.
