Jeremy Allen White Sends Chills in Powerful Bruce Springsteen Biopic Trailer

Shameless star Jeremy Allen White is drawing major buzz for his powerful transformation into Bruce Springsteen in the newly dropped trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Released by 20th Century Studios on Wednesday, June 18, the biopic trailer quickly gained traction on YouTube, pulling in over 139,000 views in no time.

One viewer summed up the reaction best: “Heard about this project, shrugged. Then saw this trailer, goosebumps.” Another added, “Well, that trailer got me—the veins popping, eyes bulging intensity of The Boss live, plus the heart and hunger that drives him, all perfectly captured… looks very promising.”

Fans are already calling White’s performance electric—and the film’s gritty energy is clearly striking a chord.

According to 20th Century Studios, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is set to hit theaters on October 24.

The trailer opens with a car salesman telling White’s Springsteen, “I do know who you are.” Springsteen responds, “That makes one of us,” hinting at the film’s deep dive into the artist’s identity, fame, and inner struggles.

“I want it to feel like I’m in the room by myself,” he says, describing his approach to music.

The trailer offers glimpses of Springsteen’s childhood, romantic moments, and raw, intimate studio scenes. “His music was an attempt to repair that hole in himself. And once he’s done that, he’s going to repair the entire world,” the narrator says.

It closes with the powerful sound of Springsteen performing his iconic anthem Born to Run.

The film chronicles the making of Springsteen’s 1982 Nebraska album—a stripped-down, hauntingly honest record that he famously recorded on a 4-track in his New Jersey bedroom. According to the studio, the album came during a crucial turning point in Springsteen’s life as he faced the weight of rising fame and the demons of his past.

Succession’s Jeremy Strong stars as Springsteen’s longtime manager, while Crazy Heart director Scott Cooper is behind the camera.

Fans are already hyped: “The cast is stacked. White, Strong, Graham. I’m in,” one YouTube user wrote. Another added, “Sold. I can already tell Jeremy Allen will get Oscar-nominated for this role.”
