YouTuber Armon Wiggins Says Sorry for Baby Oil Antics Outside Courthouse During Diddy Trial

Armon Wiggins is setting the record straight after going viral for a controversial courthouse stunt during Diddy’s trial.

The YouTuber was caught on camera outside the Manhattan courthouse on Wednesday, dancing and cheering with others while pouring baby oil on themselves—a reference to the infamous “freak-off” parties detailed in Diddy’s indictment. The moment came just after Diddy was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges, though he was still found guilty of transporting individuals for prostitution.

The video sparked swift backlash, with many accusing Wiggins of celebrating the partial legal win for Diddy. But in a statement shared on Instagram on July 3, Wiggins denied that was his intention.

“I’m learning, I’m listening, and I’m moving forward with even more care and clarity,” he wrote. “Yesterday, a clip of me outside the courthouse went viral and was taken out of context. What started as a lighthearted moment part of a long-running joke with my audience was misinterpreted as support for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. That was never my intention.”

He emphasized that he’s spent the past 60 days covering the case with “honesty and objectivity,” and the stunt was simply a moment of levity with his followers.

“Still, I fully understand how the timing and optics may have felt hurtful, especially to survivors of abuse,” he added. “I sincerely apologize to anyone who was impacted or disappointed. This has been a reminder to move with greater care, and I remain committed to doing this work with integrity and heart.”

Months before Diddy’s arrest, federal agents conducted raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes—and reportedly seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, allegedly tied to the notorious “freak-off” sex parties mentioned in the indictment.

In the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo addressed the eyebrow-raising claim with a mix of disbelief and humor.

“I don’t know where the number 1,000 came [from],” he said. “I can’t imagine it’s thousands. I’m not really sure what that has to do with anything. One bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don’t know what you need a thousand for.”

He added, “I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk, you know? I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. Have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and seen what people walk out of there with? … I don’t think it was 1,000. Let’s just say it’s a lot.”
