Drake Shares Stake Ad While Joking It’s for $2 Million ‘Credit’ to Play Slots

Drake cracked a joke about posting a Stake ad just to score $2 million in gambling credit.

The rapper shared a screenshot of the cryptocurrency betting platform’s logo with a caption suggesting he was trying to recover cash he’d blown while gambling.

“MEMBERS WE ARE DOWN BAD ON STAKE SO I AM POSTING THIS SOLELY FOR 2 MILLION DOLLARS CREDIT TO SPIN SLOTS…PLS KEEP SCROLLING” he wrote in the caption.

Drake announced his partnership with Stake back in 2022 after previously showing support for the platform. When announcing the collaboration, he called it “inevitable.”

In a statement grabbed by SBC Americas, Stake co-founder Ed Craven shared his enthusiasm about teaming up with the rapper.

“Drake has been an active member of our global community for a few months now, so the next step and natural evolution in the relationship was for us to collaborate on a stream,” Craven explained.

“We share the same love for crypto, gambling and community and are like-minded fans of the technology and culture at the forefront of this movement,” he added.

Earlier this month, video of Drake apparently being surprised by a drone went viral online. While in Australia for his Anita Max Win Tour (which is now postponed), he seemed startled when a drone flew up to his window.

Drake tried to throw a sandal at the device as it backed away to reveal what looked like a penthouse in Sydney, Australia.

Based on the opening shot of Drake’s laptop screen that the drone captured, many people suggested the whole video was actually a Stake ad.

A few days ago, Drake offered to pay for a fan’s mother’s cancer treatment after spotting their handmade sign during his Brisbane show.

“Everybody’s been pointing at this man all night,” he said. “This right here—put the sign up please, this is important—this man here, he’s got everybody in the crowd pointing to him… Whatever you need for your mother’s cancer treatment, I’mma take care of everything for you, I promise. Love, love. Anything.”
