BigXthaPlug Teams Up With Bailey Zimmerman for “All the Way” Before Dropping His New Country Project

BigXthaPlug is gearing up to drop a full country album later in 2025, but he’s warming up fans with his much-anticipated collab with Bailey Zimmerman first. “All the Way,” crafted by producers Charley Cooks and Bandplay, gives listeners a taste of what’s coming next from BigX, who’s been steadily climbing the music scene over the last year.

The track seems destined for chart success in the weeks ahead. Running just under three minutes, it smoothly blends both artists’ signature styles and fits perfectly alongside today’s popular country crossover hits. The release comes complete with a new merchandise line to celebrate the collaboration.

You can check out “All the Way” now on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and other streaming platforms.

BigX started the year strong with the deluxe edition of TAKE CARE, his acclaimed second album that firmly established the Texas rapper as a rising force in the industry. While the exact release date for BigX’s country project remains under wraps, it’s confirmed to drop sometime in 2025.

During a recent chat with Theo Von, Morgan Wallen revealed he and BigX “almost did a song” together, mentioning he sent BigX a track but he “didn’t finish it.” Interestingly, Wallen left the door open for possibly revisiting this unreleased collaboration in the future.

As for Zimmerman, his last album Religiously. The Album. came out in 2023, and he’s also got a new full-length project coming soon. This June, he’ll hit the Nissan Stadium stage alongside Megan Moroney and Shaboozey, plus many others, at CMA Fest 2025 in Nashville.

In the meantime, you can check out BigX and Bailey’s official “All the Way” music video below.

Right after dropping “All the Way,” Zimmerman chatted with Complex about his collaboration with BigX, sharing that this partnership began simply because he was a real fan of BigX’s music.

TWC: What drew you to BigX’s work?

BZ: What I would say drew me to BigX’s music before the thought of us collabing was even a thing was that his flow is really unique and his production that he has is just super groovy. And I just always found myself turning on BigX and jamming to every one of his songs. I was already a fan before he reached out to collab and when he reached out, it was unreal. It was like, man! I’m getting to do a song with a dude I jam every single day!

What were the sessions behind this song like?

This is one of my favorite questions because there are so many people on social media and online upset because me and BigX ‘teased the song for too long’ but the story behind that and the reason behind that is that I wasn’t a part of the writing process of ‘All The Way.’ BigX sent me the song through text message and told me that he wanted me to get on it. I was immediately like ‘Heck yeah!’

I got in the studio, cut the song, and sent it back to him. We were all so excited that he posted it and we didn’t expect it to get the reaction that it did, but when we had posted it, it was just a demo that we just got back so we immediately went into trying to get the production right, trying to get his vocal right, trying to get my vocal right. Just getting it perfect.

It took a while to get there and I know it was a long while from when we teased to when we put it out, but that was because we started with a demo and we wanted to get it perfect for everybody. In my opinion, the sessions were so much fun. It was a little intense because we had so many people wanting the song right now.

But I’m so glad that we took the time, put in the hard work, and now we have something that me and BigX are so proud of. Shout out to BigX for having me on it and shout out to everybody for waiting on it. I hope the wait was worth it!

Any plans to work with BigX again in the future? I know he’s prepping a full-length, country-inspired project of his own.

In my opinion, I think we should collab again. I think we have more in the tank. I think we’ve got more heartbreak stories. We’ve got more to talk about and I think this is just the beginning of seeing country and rap collide like this. So, yeah, 10/10 would work with BigX again! That dude is a legend! Shoutout BigX for having me on the song. Love you, bro!
