King Harris is now facing charges for willfully obstructing law enforcement officers and possessing a controlled substance.
Over the weekend, the 21-year-old was taken into custody during a traffic stop in his home state of Georgia. According to reports, officers claimed they spotted a firearm as they approached the car, leading them to ask him to step out. When he refused, he was hit with an obstruction charge. Authorities also reportedly found a THC vape inside the vehicle, adding a possession charge to the situation. At the time, Harris was dressed in a Pikachu onesie.
Not long after, bodycam footage from the incident made its way online, showing that his father, T.I., attempted to intervene and help him avoid trouble. Despite that effort, as seen in clips shared by Watch Live Bitez, Harris was still taken in and booked.
Following the arrest, Harris jumped on Instagram to react, making it clear he wasn’t too bothered by the situation.
“Living a good Pikachu life in Tokyo then come back to ATL and team rocket(F**KIN POLICE) catch me wit a master ball and throw me n jail all night,” he wrote alongside a video of himself rapping in a go-kart. “WELLL DAMNNN F*CK EM.”
He later shared a photo of himself still in the onesie, captioning it, “Welp guess you can say they caught da Pikachu wit a master ball.” In another post, he added “F*** dat police” and even went as far as threatening to sleep with the arresting officer’s wife.
King Harris has had his fair share of run-ins with the law before. Back in 2024, he was taken into custody after nearly crashing into a police car while leaving a gas station. When officers approached, they reportedly smelled marijuana and quickly discovered he had an active warrant for failing to appear in court.
This latest situation also comes not long after Harris found himself in the spotlight for stepping into his father T.I.’s ongoing feud with 50 Cent. He dropped several diss tracks aimed at the G-Unit boss, making it clear he wasn’t about to let anyone disrespect his parents.
