Eminem is officially a grandfather again, as his daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, has welcomed her first child.
On Thursday (April 16), the rapper’s eldest daughter hopped on Instagram to share the exciting news of her baby girl’s arrival with husband Matt Moeller. “My heart outside my body. She’s everything and more. Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26. Welcome to the world my sweet darling🕊️,” Scott wrote.
She went on to explain the meaning behind the name, adding, “Scottie, in honor of my ‘scott sisters.’ The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning. May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties.”
Scott also shared a heartfelt message for her husband: “To my husband, I can’t believe she’s ours. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly.”
Alaina Marie Scott first revealed she was expecting her first child with Matt Moeller in an Instagram post back in October.
“There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear,” she wrote at the time. “I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing.”
Last April, Eminem stepped into the grandfather role for the first time when his daughter Hailie Jade Scott welcomed her first son with husband Evan McClintock. She later shared on Instagram that the baby was already three weeks old.
Before giving birth, Hailie Jade opened up about the experience on her podcast, Just a Little Shady podcast, sharing just how surreal it all felt.
“It’s so weird to think about… I can’t even wrap my head around it,” she said. “I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he gonna look like? What’s he gonna … what’s his personality gonna be [like]? It’s strange but super exciting.”
