Pete Davidson Shows Off Nearly Bare Arms in Las Vegas Following Major Tattoo Removal

Pete Davidson is nearly done with his dramatic transformation.

According to Page Six, the comedian stepped out at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last Wednesday, where he showed off arms that are now almost completely free of tattoos. Once known for having full sleeves and around 200 tattoos, the removal process has reportedly cost him at least $200,000.

Back in January 2025, Davidson shared that he had already started removing his ink. “I’ve been burning them off. They’re almost gone,” he said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

At the time, he mentioned he planned to erase most of them, keeping “maybe two or three,” including his Hilary Clinton portrait. “I’m trying to clean slate it,” he added.

A few months later, he told Variety that he had already spent close to $200,000 and was only about 30 percent through the process. He also revealed it could take another “10 years” to fully remove them, a journey he began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For Davidson, this fresh start goes beyond appearance—it reflects a shift in his lifestyle.

“I used to be a drug addict, and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up,” Davidson told Variety. “And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with tattoos, but mine, when I look at them, I remember a sad person that was very unsure. So I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain.”

This new chapter in his life also comes as he embraces fatherhood with his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on Dec. 12. The name is a tribute to Pete’s father, Scott Davidson, who died during the September 11 attacks when Pete was just seven years old.
