Concert Footage Shows d4vd Allegedly Breaking Down Days After Celeste Rivas’ Death

d4vd is currently in custody after prosecutors accused him of murdering teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

In the wake of his arrest, many fans have started tying his music to the serious allegations, with some suggesting he may now be remembered more for the case than his artistry. A concert clip, reportedly from April 2025, has also resurfaced online, showing the singer getting emotional and appearing to cry while performing just days after the alleged incident.

As highlighted by Hollywood Unlocked on Instagram, the footage captures him performing “Afterlife.” According to a fan page, the moment took place during his album release party on April 28. Rivas’ reported date of death is around April 23, 2025, while her body was later discovered in September. Authorities arrested the Queens native earlier this month.

On the music side, several of d4vd’s past collaborators have begun reacting to the situation by removing their joint tracks from streaming platforms. Among those distancing themselves are Kali Uchis, Holly Humberstone, Laufey, and others.

The resurfaced concert footage adds to the growing scrutiny around d4vd’s past work, including his older music videos. One of his former collaborators, Cassidy Clarke—who played his girlfriend in the “Here With Me” visual—recently addressed the situation on TikTok, making it clear she no longer wants any association with him.

“I do not associate with D4vd by any means,” she expressed. “I did it for a job, I did it for a check, I didn’t know who D4vd was, I don’t follow him on Instagram anymore. I’m going to remove him as a follower, and I think that he deserves even more than what’s happening to him right now. He’s a monster. And I do not associate with him by any means. I’m not making this video to make this about me. I’m making this video to put an end to my association with D4vd.”

As the case continues to unfold in court, online discussions remain intense. The artist has pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder charge, while prosecutors also claim to have found child pornography on his phone and have outlined their version of events surrounding the alleged crime. Outside the courtroom, every resurfaced clip continues to fuel conversation.
