Drake, as many fans predicted ahead of his new album, appears to take aim at DJ Khaled on a track featured during the fourth episode of his Iceman livestream series.
In the lyric that’s now sparking conversation online, Drake references “Free Palestine” while suggesting Khaled’s supporters are still waiting for him to publicly speak out.
“Your people are still waiting for a ‘Free Palestine,’ but apparently everything isn’t black and white and red and green,” Drake raps on the track, reportedly titled “Make Them Pay.”
The moment arrived as Drake officially kicked off his Iceman era with a brand-new livestream episode on Thursday (May 14). The album, which fans originally expected to arrive last year, marks his first solo studio release since For All the Dogs dropped in October 2023. He later followed it up with a Scary Hours edition one month later.
Iceman also serves as Drake’s first album since his headline-making feud with Kendrick Lamar in the summer of 2024.
For Thursday’s livestream, Drake brought out several special guests, including his son Adonis and comedian Shane Gillis. Throughout the stream, Drake previewed a wave of new music before revealing that Iceman wouldn’t be the only project arriving at midnight. Instead, fans were hit with the surprise announcement that three new albums were on the way.
