Ray J Says He’s Prepared To Risk It All In MMA Fight Against Supa Hot Fire

Ray J appears to be taking his upcoming MMA showdown with Supa Hot Fire extremely seriously — so seriously, in fact, that he made some intense comments about being willing to risk everything in the ring.

During a livestreamed press conference ahead of their Saturday (May 23) fight, audience members were given the chance to ask both competitors questions. At one point, a man referenced Ray J’s earlier claims this year about nearly dying and asked whether he still felt like he was “dying soon.”

“You want to see me die, bro?” Ray J responded emotionally, while the audience member quickly denied it.

Ray J then doubled down with an even more dramatic statement: “That’s why I’m putting it all in the ring. If this n***a can really do it, he’ll kill me in the ring. I’m dying for mine, n***a.”

Moments later, after thanking Adin Ross for giving him the chance to compete at the Brand Risk 14 event in Las Vegas, Ray J became emotional while explaining his motivation for stepping into the cage.

“I’m not just fighting for me, I’m fighting for my kids,” he said as his voice began to crack.

Elsewhere during the press conference, tensions between Ray J and Supa Hot Fire nearly boiled over several times as the trash talk and jokes became increasingly heated. Much of the friction reportedly came from Supa Hot Fire wearing a shirt featuring Kim Kardashian while also taking shots at Ray J’s music career.

At one point, Ray J reportedly jumped out of his chair and rushed toward Supa Hot Fire before security and others stepped in to stop the situation from escalating further.

The upcoming fight has also sparked concern because of Ray J’s reported health struggles. Earlier this year, doctors allegedly warned him about serious heart issues and reportedly told him he may eventually need a pacemaker or defibrillator. He was also allegedly advised to avoid smoking and drinking.

Despite those concerns, Ray J says he’s been fully preparing for the fight, revealing that he trained with Rampage Jackson and sought advice from Chuck Liddell, seemingly suggesting he feels ready to compete despite the health scares.
