Cardi B is urging fans to ease up on the pressure for new music and nonstop appearances after her tour, explaining that she needs time to recharge and recover.
During an X Spaces livestream on Saturday (May 23), the rapper called out fans who expect her to jump right back into the spotlight, pointing out just how exhausting the Little Miss Drama Tour has been.
“I don’t know if y’all getting a little too greedy, I don’t know what the fuck y’all got going on in your heads. But y’all expect me to do a hundred million things every damn day, every single week. Y’all seriously need to relax, okay?” Cardi B said in the audio clip above.
The Am I the Drama? rapper shared that she was “barely” home throughout most of 2026 after launching her concert tour back in February. She went on to detail how intense life on the road became, from constant traveling and two-hour performances to meet-and-greets, afterparties, and barely getting enough rest.
“I had to do that shit every single fucking day for three months,” Cardi said. “Single, so I didn’t have nobody entertaining me. Just working, working, working, working.”
Even after ending the tour last month, Cardi says she’s still been locked in creatively and working on fresh music behind the scenes.
“I’ve been writing new music every single day while I’m in my house,” she explained. “I’m hearing beats, I’m going through different ideas. I’m going through things because I want to make sure that my next single or music that I’m going to put out—because I really, really want to put out a project, but I’m just not going to put no bullshit out.”
Cardi also explained that she’s trying to divide her time between her four children, healing mentally and physically, and getting back into a creative space. According to her, she’s been spending her downtime at spas, getting massages, going to the movies, and simply relaxing at home. She added that she’s also been taking pole dancing classes and working out to get stronger, even if she’s not posting every moment online.
“But complaining, complaining, complaining. Leave me the fuck alone. I need to make up lost times with my kids and myself. And it’s very selfish that y’all constantly complaining,” Cardi said.
“Y’all expect me to be a machine every single fucking day and it’s not fair, and I don’t like that,” she continued. “Like I love y’all down, I love y’all to death, but when y’all make me feel like I’m being pressured to do something, it gives me anxiety. And y’all giving me anxiety and it doesn’t make me move faster. It doesn’t motivate me, it doesn’t make me do nothing … But because y’all not fucking seeing me or y’all not seeing me doing nothing, y’all just think I’m out here all day playing with my pussy and sucking dick. And it’s not fair. Let me chill.”
“Y’all complain about every fucking thing … I’m making up lost time with my kids that I was on tour. You think because I was seeing them on tour one or two days or three or four days, that’s enough? Bitch, no. And it’s annoying, and it really pissed me off because it’s like, ‘Damn, these n****s is mad selfish.’ It’s only been a month, I’m popping out!”
Cardi wrapped up the livestream by teasing fans that she’ll soon start requesting “a budget for new videos and new promos cuz I want new shit to come out.”
