Big30 Reportedly Reunites With Family Following Release From Jail in Gucci Mane-Related Case

Big30 was initially unsuccessful in his efforts to obtain bond while awaiting trial alongside several others, including Pooh Shiesty and Pooh Shiesty’s father, in the Gucci Mane-related case. However, that changed this week when a judge overturned the earlier decision denying bail, leading to reports that the rapper has now been released and reunited with his family.

According to footage shared on Instagram and highlighted by XXL, Big30 was reportedly seen at an airport on Friday, June 5, where friends and family gathered to welcome him home following his release. As of press time, neither Big30 nor any of the other individuals connected to the case have publicly commented on the development.

The update comes shortly after Pooh Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., was also granted bond and released last week. Despite that ruling, Pooh Shiesty remains behind bars, and it is still uncertain whether he will be able to secure his own release before trial.

Big30, Pooh Shiesty, Williams Sr., and six other defendants are currently awaiting trial in connection with an alleged incident that took place at a recording studio in Dallas back in January.

The trial involving Big30 and Pooh Shiesty over allegations that they kidnapped and robbed Gucci Mane is currently scheduled to begin on July 6, provided there are no changes to the court calendar. Before that, all defendants are expected to receive the full scope of evidence from prosecutors by the final pretrial conference hearing on July 1.

Federal prosecutors allege that the defendants arranged what appeared to be a legitimate business meeting with Gucci Mane and members of his team at a recording studio in Dallas. According to the allegations, the group then blocked the studio’s exit, pressured Gucci Mane to release Pooh Shiesty from his 1017 Records deal, and took several items belonging to the rap star.

The case has also sparked debate within the hip-hop community, particularly after Gucci Mane responded with his diss track “Crash Dummy.” The song fueled ongoing conversations surrounding loyalty, cooperation with authorities, and street code, discussions that continue to divide fans.

For now, Big30 has reportedly secured the opportunity to await trial outside of jail following his release on bond. It remains to be seen whether any of his co-defendants, including Pooh Shiesty, will receive similar rulings before the trial gets underway.
