Megan Thee Stallion is fighting back against a lawsuit alleging she failed to pay more than $1.2 million in styling and wardrobe-related costs.
Court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, obtained by People, show celebrity stylist Eric Archibald and styling company Six K are seeking $1,243,501.98 in alleged unpaid fees connected to services provided for the Grammy-winning rapper between January 2024 and August 2025.
According to the lawsuit, Archibald was hired to handle styling duties for several appearances and events throughout that timeframe. The plaintiffs claim they sent invoices to Megan and various affiliated business entities between January 2025 and January 2026, supported by deal memos and email exchanges that allegedly confirmed the work was completed.
One example cited in the complaint involves styling services for the inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. The filing includes an itemized invoice totaling $53,800, covering styling fees, assistants, prep days, and wardrobe-related expenses, including several gowns worn during the event.
Archibald and Six K say they have spent nearly two years attempting to settle the matter privately. They contend the unpaid balance has strained their businesses and professional relationships, with some of the outstanding funds allegedly owed to outside vendors.
“Despite the fact that Six K has made numerous and unsuccessful attempts to resolve payment over the course of the last two years, there is still no imminent direction towards settlement between the parties,” the complaint states.
Megan, however, has firmly denied the claims. In a statement to People, the Houston rapper said a detailed review by her financial team uncovered what she described as major discrepancies in the billing records.
“My finance team conducted a comprehensive audit of Eric Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and uncovered fraudulent invoices, unsupported charges, and styling shipments tied to addresses that could not be verified,” Megan said. “Those findings raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of expenses that we repeatedly tried to resolve privately with Eric’s team.”
She added, “Rather than address the issues from the audit, Eric and his team chose to file a lawsuit. The facts are on our side and I won’t be coerced into paying charges that can’t be substantiated.”
The case is the latest legal battle involving the “Savage” hitmaker. In December 2025, Megan scored a major victory in her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz, whose legal name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper. A jury ruled in Megan’s favor after she accused the blogger of spreading false allegations about her on behalf of Tory Lanez.
