Just last week, Drake returned to Turks and Caicos, one of his favorite vacation destinations. Whenever the rapper visits the islands, fans are quick to capture as much footage of him as possible. During the trip, he was also spotted filming a music video with Stunna Sandy.
Now, Drake appears to be back in the United States and spending time in Houston. The update comes from a video shared on social media by Houston Boomerangs.
In the clip, Drake can be seen celebrating Father’s Day at a nightclub alongside his father, Dennis Graham. Chubbs was also in attendance and had his father with him as well. The celebrations continued the following day when Drake joined Chubbs at another Houston nightclub to mark his birthday.
It has been a challenging period for Dennis Graham and his family. On ICEMAN, Drake revealed that his father had been battling cancer. However, those lyrics were reportedly written some time ago. In a conversation with TMZ, Dennis Graham shared that he is now in remission and doing well.
Even so, the diagnosis was undoubtedly a frightening experience for the Graham family. Cancer remains a serious illness that affects people in many different ways. Drake’s decision to address the situation on his album prompted fans to rally around his father and send their support.
Meanwhile, Drake continues to enjoy tremendous commercial success. ICEMAN has now reached platinum-eligible status and currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, trailing only Olivia Rodrigo. Years into his career, Drake remains one of the most dominant and successful figures in hip-hop.
