A North Carolina man who says he has the world’s smallest penis has successfully raised thousands of dollars through crowdfunding to help pay for an enlargement procedure.
Michael Phillips, 38, reached his initial $6,000 fundraising goal in less than 12 hours after launching a GoFundMe campaign titled “Help Michael Get Micropenis Enlargement Surgery.” At the time of writing, the campaign had attracted more than 60 donations, raising over $11,000.
On the fundraising page, Phillips explained that he has been diagnosed with a condition known as micropenis, which he says has affected his daily life, including making it difficult to use the bathroom. According to Phillips, his doctor recommended an enlargement procedure to help improve his condition.
“This has been a source of daily frustration and embarrassment especially when traveling which I like to do, and it has affected my confidence and independence,” he wrote.
According to TMZ, the procedure involves injecting semi-permanent dermal filler into the penis.
Phillips said he has been saving for the operation but still needed additional financial support to cover the remaining costs.
“While this procedure will not cure my Micropenis condition, it would make a significant difference in my daily life by helping me avoid the need for pull ups and regain some normalcy and comfort,” he wrote.
