Cardi B took to X Spaces and opened up about losing several endorsement deals last year, saying it happened in the middle of her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj.
During the session, Cardi delivered a 30-minute, expletive-filled rant. She didn’t call out anyone directly, but sent a broad warning to anyone trying to involve her in drama for attention.
“You bitches are not going to keep mentioning my fucking name to get y’all some fucking clout,” she said. “Don’t come to my DM like, ‘Is you talking about me?’ Yes, bitch, I am. I’m talking about you.”
Cardi B went on to invite whoever she was referring to, challenging them to fly to New York City and confront her face-to-face. “I’ve never been a bitch that’s been picked on,” she said. “I’ve never been a bitch that’s been bullied on. I’ve never been a bitch that declined no smoke.”
The rapper also revealed that her refusal to back down had real business consequences. “No lie, last year when I went off, I lost about three deals,” Cardi admitted. “I lost about three deals when I was bugging out and violating, and giving bitches the fucking business.”
Despite the setbacks, Cardi reflected on her past to highlight how she’s always stood her ground in confrontations. “I used to really beef with bitches that were really like that,” she said. “I still had to go to school, go to the train station, knowing that there’s a bitch that I’m beefing with who most likely has a razor up their ass. So you bitches don’t scare nothing.”
Although she didn’t directly name Nicki Minaj, the comments were widely seen as tied to their ongoing feud, which escalated last year after the release of Am I the Drama?. Nicki Minaj later posted about a $4.99 discount on Cardi’s album, sparking a back-and-forth between the two on X.
Cardi went on to criticize Nicki Minaj for comparing herself to newer rappers, writing, “You been in the game like 16 years.. You need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time. I was in high school when you came out wtf is you comparing yourself to me for???”
Tensions escalated further after pregnancy-related comments were exchanged, with Cardi accusing Nicki Minaj of visiting multiple fertility doctors due to struggles with conceiving. In response, Nicki Minaj called Kulture “ugly,” while Cardi fired back with remarks about Nicki Minaj’s son being nonverbal.
The situation intensified again when Nicki Minaj later apologized to Kulture, prompting Cardi to shut it down, telling her to “keep my child name out of your mouth.”
