A new chapter in Megan Thee Stallion’s career appears to be on the horizon.
On Monday (Aug. 10), the three-time Grammy winner and recent Broadway star gave fans her clearest signal yet that Act III is on the way.
“I’m back,” read the bold all-caps message printed across her back in a series of photos shared on Instagram and X. Another image featured the title of the upcoming project in a similarly styled teaser.
Act II, which also served as the deluxe edition of Megan’s album Megan, was released in October 2024. The project’s lead single, “Neva Play,” featuring RM of BTS, went on to peak at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2025, fans received two more songs from Megan, “Whenever” and “Lover Girl,” though it remains unknown whether either track will appear on Act III. The official release date for the upcoming project is also still unclear, but Megan previously told People that she was confident it would arrive in 2026.
“I’m completing Act III and the music is dropping this year,” Megan said in January. “The hotties just need to give me a little time.”
So far this year, Megan has mainly focused on guest appearances, including features on Juvenile’s “B.B.B.” and the remix of BossMan Dlow’s “Motion Party.” Alongside her music contributions, she has also expanded into acting, appearing in Chandler Levack’s Roommates and the Tracy Morgan-led NBC comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.
The rapper and actress also made her Broadway debut in March, joining the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
