Tory Lanez has announced a “tour,” though the quotation marks are fitting since he won’t actually be leaving his cell at the California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, California.
The incarcerated rapper and singer announced the NOT ON “TOR” TOUR on social media Tuesday (Sept. 15), sharing clips of people dancing to his music alongside the dates and venues for the events. The tour is set to begin Sept. 25 at HK Hall in New York before concluding at Avalon Social in Pittsburgh on Nov. 13.
According to Lanez’s announcement, the shows will be presented as “listening experiences” featuring him “and friends.” As is often the case with these kinds of announcements, the identities of those “friends” have not yet been disclosed.
The post also offered a preview of the official tour merchandise, including a hoodie displaying the cover art from his latest album, Made You Think I Was Gone …But.
Last month, the musician’s divorce case involving his wife, Raina Chassagne, was dismissed by the court.
Chassagne filed for divorce in 2024 after one year of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting full custody of their son, Kai.
Lanez was convicted of three felony charges related to the 2022 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison the following year. He was initially incarcerated at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi but was later transferred to the California Men’s Colony following safety concerns after another inmate stabbed him 14 times.
