Blueface has proposed to Chrisean Rock at a nightclub, and she accepted.
The couple’s relationship has taken another unexpected turn. Early Monday morning (Oct. 12), the rapper popped the question to Chrisean at Problem Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to TMZ. Footage of the moment shows the pair inside a crowded club when bottle-service attendants surprised Chrisean with a large sign reading, “Will You Mary Me?” The unexpected gesture appeared to catch her completely off guard. Rather than standing up and allowing Blueface to get down on one knee for a traditional proposal, she continued trying to remain seated.
Blueface eventually asked, “Yes or no?” and Chrisean answered yes.
The proposal comes just weeks after Blueface ended his relationship with his most recent girlfriend, Nevaeh, who gave birth to the rapper’s namesake in August. He reportedly broke things off with Nevaeh in September after she initially refused to come clean about her YoungBoy Never Broke Again tattoo. Despite their breakup, Nevaeh continued living at Blueface’s house and said she planned to move out by November. A few weeks after the drama surrounding their split, Blueface rekindled his relationship with Chrisean.
“If she ain’t gone by the time I get home I hope she can fight real good,” Blueface tweeted, referring to the possibility of a confrontation between the two women if Nevaeh was still living at his residence when he returned with Chrisean.
Following the proposal, Blueface also appeared to take a jab at Nevaeh during a livestream.
“Ha. You mad!” he repeatedly said while exchanging kisses with Chrisean.
