Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Why She’s Been Pulled Over by Police ‘So Many Times’

Sarah Paulson has never been pulled over by the police, but Kim Kardashian has a very different experience.

In a behind-the-scenes TikTok video shared on Tuesday, October 20, the reality star posted footage from the Los Angeles press tour for Season 2 of Hulu’s All’s Fair. What began as a casual chat with co-stars Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts soon shifted to a conversation about their driving experiences.

“I dreamed I got a speeding ticket,” Watts told the group, prompting Paulson to reveal that she had never been pulled over by the police.

“Never? You’ve never been pulled over?” Kardashian asked in disbelief, while Nash-Betts followed up with an even more pressing question: “Do you drive?”

When Sarah Paulson confirmed that she drives, Kim Kardashian shared her own experience with traffic stops. “Oh, I’ve been pulled over so many times,” she admitted. Naturally, Paulson was curious about what had gotten her stopped so frequently.

“Speeding. Or like missing a stop sign,” the mother of four explained, clarifying that she meant rolling through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop. The conversation then turned to Naomi Watts, who revealed that she’d also been pulled over before. Paulson seized the opportunity to tease her, asking, “You’re a bad driver though, I bet, aren’t you?”

“F\*ck you!” Watts fired back. “I am not a bad driver. I’m a really good driver. And I follow the rules.”

Kim Kardashian’s driving record has made headlines in the past. In November 2013, she received a speeding citation on Los Angeles’ 101 Freeway while being chased by paparazzi. According to the Los Angeles Times, the California Highway Patrol clocked at least three photographers driving between 80 and 85 mph.

A few months earlier, TMZ reported that Kardashian had been stopped in Calabasas because of her tinted windows but received only a warning.

More recently, Kardashian was pulled over in November 2024 while driving her Tesla Cybertruck along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. An Los Angeles County sheriff’s motorcycle officer stopped her for having an excessively tinted windshield and issued her a fix-it ticket.

Within the Kardashian family, however, Kim isn’t the one known for having the worst driving habits. Just last week, during the October 15 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian was named the family’s worst driver.

“She is not a good driver,” Kim said of her older sister, according to People. “I think she’s just so nonchalant and doesn’t pay attention.”

Khloé Kardashian also had an encounter with the police before she even obtained her driver’s license. During a March 2025 episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, she recalled being pulled over at 15 while driving Caitlyn Jenner’s Expedition. When officers asked for her identification, she attempted to give Kourtney’s name along with Kim’s birthday.

“Of course they were like, ‘You’re lying, get out of the car,'” the Good American co-founder recalled at the time.

Season 2 of All’s Fair will premiere on Hulu on November 4 with three episodes. According to TheWrap, the show’s first season attracted 3.2 million global views within its first three days, securing Hulu’s biggest scripted series debut in three years despite receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews.
