Although she was questioned about him during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, she neither confirmed nor denied the current status of their relationship. During that same interview, the rapper explained why she and Diddy were never officially “together.” According to her, they simply lived their separate lives and spent time together whenever it worked for both of them.
However, some people are now questioning whether Yung Miami was being entirely truthful. The speculation follows a cryptic post she shared on her X account on Wednesday, November 4.
As seen below, the rapper posted two birthday cake emojis alongside two white hearts. While the post appeared innocent enough, its timing caught people’s attention, as November 4 marked Diddy’s birthday. The music mogul turned 57 while spending the occasion behind bars at FCI Allenwood.
Yung Miami never mentioned Diddy by name in her post, making it difficult to determine whether the message was actually directed at him. After all, her debut solo album, Watch Dis!, recently made its debut on the Billboard 200. It’s possible the emojis were simply her way of celebrating the achievement, and that wouldn’t be an unreasonable assumption.
Still, many social media users are convinced the post was specifically about Diddy. A quick look through Yung Miami’s comment section reveals plenty of angry reactions. While some believe showing support for Diddy at this point is disgusting and tone-deaf, others brought up JT, arguing that she is the City Girl fans should be supporting instead.
Many people are convinced the post was a birthday shout-out to Diddy, and they aren’t willing to accept any other explanation. The tweet has received just 400 likes compared to more than 500 retweets, a rather poor engagement ratio for X in 2026. This suggests that fans are reacting negatively and are far from impressed with Yung Miami’s move.
So far, the rapper has yet to address the backlash. However, it appears that many fans have already made up their minds about the situation.
