Blueface just dropped new photos from behind bars, and fans were quick to notice some major changes—especially the fresh ink.
The pics, shared by Hollywood Unlocked on Saturday, July 12, show the rapper looking noticeably more built, flaunting a bulked-up physique. But what really got people talking were the new face tattoos, which sparked a wave of criticism from fans online.
“He reminds me of morning breath… if it had a face, you know what I’m saying?” one fan joked, while another piled on with, “So he went in and turned his face into a coloring book? Smh.”
Another commenter couldn’t help but mention Blueface’s outspoken mom, Karlissa Safford, saying, “Lord, Karlissa about to curse us all out speaking on her sonnnn—but he looks a mess.”
While Blueface serves his four-year sentence, his ex Chrisean Rock is still embroiled in drama—this time with Kehlani. Rock accused the “Beautiful Lies” singer of sleeping with Blueface while they were still together, a claim Kehlani has firmly denied.
Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was sentenced to four years at Lancaster State Prison in August 2024 for violating probation tied to a 2021 assault at a North Hollywood lounge. Though there’s talk that he could be released early—possibly after serving just 10 months due to time served—nothing has been confirmed.
Prior to that, he was given a suspended sentence in 2022 after pleading guilty to assault and battery stemming from a shooting outside a Las Vegas strip club.
