Iggy Azalea shared that she’s officially banned her son from watching YouTube or using any social media after catching him using Gen Alpha slang.
During a livestream with N3on on Monday, the rapper explained her decision came after noticing signs of what she called “brain rot.” “I had to ban him because he says too many—they’re all, like, skibidi bibidi,” she joked, which got a laugh from the streamer.
When N3on asked if her son would be allowed to watch his content, Azalea replied, “We’ll have to see. I haven’t watched a whole one. That would be irresponsible of me to say, yes or no.”
Although her son “really likes” YouTube, she said she had to remove the app from all devices, calling it a necessary step.
Azalea revealed that her son once asked if he could start a YouTube channel to showcase his rapping skills — but she laid down one strict condition: the channel must be private and only viewable by her and their family.
