Chris Tucker marked his 54th birthday with a getaway to France.
The actor and comedian, who officially turned 54 on August 31, shared an Instagram carousel on Tuesday (Sept. 16) highlighting his adventures overseas, which included stops in Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and the South of France.

On his Instagram Stories, the Rush Hour star jokingly wondered why he doesn’t already live in Europe, before sharing a clip from his birthday celebration, which featured Brian McKnight and his wife, Leilani, among the guests. Later that evening, Tucker paid tribute to his late friend Michael Jackson by hitting the dance floor to a cover of the King of Pop’s 1979 classic “Rock With You.”
Just last month, Tucker honored what would have been Michael Jackson’s 67th birthday with a trip to the pop icon’s hometown of Gary, Indiana, for the 2300 Jackson Street Block Party. While there, he danced to Jackson’s 2001 hit “Rock My World,” nearly 25 years after his cameo in the song’s music video. Tucker also posed for photos with Jackson’s brothers and Jackson 5 legends, Marlon and Jackie, and made a stop at the group’s mural in downtown Gary.
Tucker, who last appeared in the 2023 sports biopic Air, has been urged by former costars to step back into his iconic roles in the Rush Hour and Friday franchises. Earlier this year, Jackie Chan joked to ScreenRant that by the time the long-awaited Rush Hour 4 script is ready, he and Tucker will be “100 years old.”
