Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif is once again making it clear that he wants Drake to headline the festival someday.
Chatting with Adin Ross and Akademiks over the weekend, Cherif—who launched the massively popular global festival with Matt Zingler back in 2015—revealed that the Iceman rapper has consistently been offered deals worth multiple millions.
His newest comments echo what he said earlier this year when he told Big Boy he felt Drake was “ducking” the festival’s offers.
“Yo, facts,” he said when the idea of Drake headlining came up. “I send an offer to Drake every year. … We hit him with our max offer, millions of dollars.”
Cherif also addressed questions about other possible future headliners for the festival, including the artist formerly known as Kanye West.
“That’s my guy,” Cherif said. “I love Ye. Don’t let anybody tell you different. I love Ye, always. Whenever he wants to come, he’s welcome.”
With Drake’s Iceman album expected to drop soon, his upcoming tour schedule is still a mystery. Earlier this year, he teamed up with PARTYNEXTDOOR for a tour supporting their joint project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, during which Drake headlined all three nights of London’s Wireless Festival.
In October, the Office Movers guest star popped up at Vybz Kartel’s first-ever Toronto show, treating fans to a short set that included presumed Iceman track “Which One” and more.
Now, Drake is also eyeing a potential Grammy win. The OVO Sound co-founder is nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2026 Grammys for his track “Somebody Loves Me” with PARTYNEXTDOOR.
