Ray J says it’s unfair that he’s legally unable to spend time with his children during the holidays.
The R&B singer and reality TV star has been under a no-contact restraining order since his arrest last month, after he was accused of pointing a gun at his estranged wife, Princess Love, during a livestream. Ray J was later released on $50,000 bail and has denied aiming a weapon at Princess, though he said he feared for his safety when his ex and her relatives arrived to pick up his children, Melody, 7, and Epik, 5.
The restraining order has since been extended, and in a new video shared by The Shade Room, Ray J expressed frustration about not being able to see his kids in time for Christmas. He also won’t be able to see Epik for his sixth birthday.
“Man, I don’t even want to talk about it,” Ray J told reporters. “I’m missing my kids. I’m missing Christmas, my son’s birthday.”

Following the Thanksgiving livestream, in which Princess tearfully confronted Ray J while collecting their children, she encouraged her husband of nine years to get professional help.
“Check yourself into rehab, because you’re more than drunk,” she said. “You’re not about to sit here and make me look crazy when I am the best mother since the day my kids been born. Everything I do, I do for my kids, including being around you when I don’t want to or have to.”
The estranged couple announced their fourth attempt at divorce last year, and both are still moving forward with it despite briefly reconnecting at a Millennium Tour concert.
