Turk Says Lil Wayne Would’ve Shown Up at the 2025 Verzuz If He Was Involved

Turk is looking back at the No Limit–Cash Money Verzuz and says the night might have played out very differently if he had been part of it — especially when it comes to Lil Wayne’s no-show.

Speaking on a recent episode of Drink Champs, the former Hot Boys rapper shared his thoughts on the long-hyped No Limit vs. Cash Money Verzuz battle

According to Turk, things may have gone another way if he had been there.

“Not just had I been there, had we been there, you feel me? And I think if I would have been there, Wayne would have been there,” Turk said. He made it clear he wasn’t placing blame or stating it as a fact, but speaking from personal experience.

“Not saying [my absence was] the reason that he wasn’t there,” he added. “But from being in the field with all of us, Wayne haven’t missed a beat with all of us on the ticket.”

Turk also noted that people within the Cash Money circle seemed to be giving different explanations behind the scenes. He pointed to Juvenile’s claim that he already knew Wayne wouldn’t be there, though the reason was never made clear, while suggesting B.G. appeared to tell a different story.

“So Juvie said he knew Wayne wasn’t coming, but why Wayne wasn’t coming, I don’t know,” Turk said. “But B.G. say something different. So which one it was?”

From Turk’s point of view, the issue went beyond Wayne missing the event — he felt the overall energy of the night was off.

“I believe that Wayne would have showed up if I was there,” Turk said again, stressing that this was based on his own experience and observations from how they’ve moved together over the years. He also reiterated that he wasn’t calling anyone a liar and acknowledged that it was all opinion.

Turk went on to suggest that if more of the original Cash Money and Hot Boys presence had been fully represented on stage, the battle would’ve felt stronger.

“I think if we all would have been there, bro, the energy would have been better,” he said. “The energy was throwed off, you feel me? They was all over the place.”

Turk’s relationship with the rest of the Cash Money camp became tense last summer after he was removed from the Cash Money Millionaires’ 30th Anniversary Tour. He claimed the decision came after he refused to take a pay cut, while promoters said it stemmed from his ongoing issues with fellow Hot Boy B.G.

The fallout has since turned legal. Turk filed a lawsuit against the promoters in Broward County, Florida last September, and the promoters responded by suing Turk in Manhattan federal court the following month. Both cases are still ongoing.
