Few rappers have managed to embrace streaming culture without becoming full-time streamers themselves, but Drake has turned his connections with the streaming world into a major part of his public image. Whether it’s having personalities like Adin Ross and Akademiks defend him during online criticism or spending time with figures like BenDaDonn during Stake streams, Drake has successfully made that connection work for his brand.
Most recently, Drake joined TikTok Live to surprise some of his most loyal supporters. As he continues promoting ICEMAN, the rapper has been making a point to connect directly with fans, especially those who stood by him during hip-hop’s major 2024 feud. In one clip circulating online, Drake showed appreciation for a fan named Abi, who has consistently supported him on social media. “I just want to tell you thank you for always riding,” he told her.
However, Drake’s online appearances didn’t stop with TikTok Live. In an unexpected moment, The Boy found himself taking part in a Looksmaxxing competition on the Omoggle app, a video chat platform promoted as a “1v1 face-rating arena.”
His opponent was clearly thrilled to come face-to-face with one of his favorite artists, but the matchup ultimately ended in a tie. Drake, though, wasn’t about to let that stop him from claiming the moment as a victory.
It has been a busy weekend for Drake beyond his online moments. The rapper attended the Portugal vs. Croatia match and later linked up with football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
“@champagnepapi Nice to host us in your country bro,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the two together. Drake also shared a picture from their meeting, jokingly claiming that the two are the same height while revealing that Ronaldo gifted him a signed jersey for his son, Adonis.
