Drake Keeps Teasing ‘Iceman’: “This Comeback Is Personal, It’s An Apology to Myself”

Drake’s return appears to be right around the corner, and his upcoming album could be more than just a typical project.

The five-time Grammy winner has been teasing his ninth solo album, Iceman, for a while now. On Wednesday (March 11), while fans continue to wait for more details, he shared several posts on his Instagram Stories.

One showed Drake bundled up in a cream-colored bubble vest as he snapped a selfie. Another featured a female model wearing a white T-shirt with the phrase “I Support Women’s Rights & Wrongs” printed on it. He also reposted an image of a masked man, which included the caption: “This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself.”

Drizzy has been sharing cryptic hints about Iceman on social media for months. Earlier this month, he posted an Instagram carousel featuring a mix of images, including photos of music legend Cher, his father Dennis Graham, and a message that read: “Talk Is Cheap.”

The upcoming project will follow Drake’s last solo album, 2023’s For All the Dogs. In the meantime, $ome $exy $ongs, his first collaborative LP with PARTYNEXTDOOR, arrived last year.

Drake has also previewed new music during livestreams and through clips shared by hip-hop personality Akademiks. Some of the snippets appear to address people who have turned their backs on him. “Fuck them haters,” Drake raps in one clip before referencing “double agents.” “Even my label, gave ’em 15 years of my soul,” Drizzy adds.
