Pokimane Reveals She’s Had “Nightmares” Over D4vd Case: “No One Suspected Anything”

Streamer Pokimane revealed she’s been dealing with nightmares in the months following the accusations against D4vd in the alleged murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Hernandez’s body was discovered in September 2025, badly decomposed inside the front trunk of a Tesla linked to the WITHERED artist. The investigation into D4vd picked up last month, bringing forward new evidence and claims, including allegations of a romantic relationship between the alt-rock singer and Hernandez.

According to prosecutors, D4vd allegedly lured Hernandez to his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025, where he is accused of fatally stabbing her after lying in wait. There are also claims that he attempted to conceal and dispose of her body, with reports suggesting he purchased items online under a false name, including chainsaws, a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags, and an inflatable pool.

During a livestream on Friday (May 8), Pokimane opened up about her past connection with D4vd and how shaken she’s felt in the months since Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s body was discovered.

“Even talking about it right now just makes me like… It just makes me nervous and have like a pit in my stomach,” she shared, describing the details of the case as “gruesome and horrific.” “And I think just constantly reading those headlines was really getting to me. I was getting nightmares about it. And just thinking like this arrested murderer pedophile was someone who was in my home. Who connected me with so many other people. We have so many mutuals.”

She added that it’s “scary that no one suspected anything like that.” Pokimane also pointed out how people have been analyzing his content closely. “People are like dissecting his videos and lyrics and all this stuff. And since he had me in one of his music videos, I was like, does that mean anything?” she wondered.

Pokimane also made an appearance in D4vd’s 2025 music video for “What Are You Waiting For?”, which featured streamer Jasontheween as well. Meanwhile, streamer N3on recently reacted awkwardly to recalling a brief encounter he once had with the singer during an IRL stream.

“Yo, bro, you’re a fucking weirdo, you’re gonna rot in jail. Worse than jail, you’re going to rot in hell,” N3on said during a recent broadcast. “And you’re an absolute fucking psychopath, brother. … Don’t watch my streams in prison.”

D4vd is scheduled to return to court next for a status hearing on Tuesday, May 12.
