Cardi B Eyes a Second Tour Run This Fall — But Only if the Money Makes Sense

A second leg of Cardi B’s tour could be happening later this year.

It’s no secret that many artists have been struggling to book tours and fill venues lately. A lot of that has been blamed on the economy, as well as inflated streaming numbers that can sometimes make an artist’s fanbase seem bigger than it really is. But Cardi B doesn’t appear to be dealing with that issue. After wrapping up her 35-city North American arena run for the Little Miss Drama tour, the rapper is already hinting at getting back on the road.

As reported by AllHipHop, Cardi recently shared on X that she’s exploring plans for a second leg of the tour this fall. During a Spaces conversation, she explained that multiple offers are currently on the table following the success of the first run, which she says proved just how much revenue she can bring in.

“I feel like I showed how much money I could make and I could gross,” she said, while noting that several promoters are trying to lock in a deal with her. “I just want to make sure I make the best decision, and the best money, and the best promotions.”

And that’s not too surprising considering the massive production behind Cardi B’s first tour run. The rapper revealed that while the tour reportedly brought in around $70 million in gross revenue, the final payout looked very different once expenses were taken out — including management cuts, agency fees, and the $20 million advance tied to the tour.

Cardi explained that production costs alone reached about $35 million, not including additional expenses that popped up throughout the tour, like penalties for running late.

“How much did I spend on production? For tour, no lie, about $35 million. No lie. How many people besides the dancers ‘cause y’all only see dancers?.. We had like about 26 buses. So, that’s just that $35 million was just what we spent in the beginning. During the tour, you’re still spending money,” she shared.

With a possible second leg now being discussed, fans are already wondering if they’ll get another chance to catch Cardi live this fall.
