Michael B. Jordan Shows Up at Spider-Man Premiere Wearing Vintage Web-Slinger Shirt

Michael B. Jordan paid tribute to Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man with his red carpet look at the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Jordan made a surprise appearance at the film’s world premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (July 27), arriving on the carpet wearing a vintage Spider-Man T-shirt paired with Jacquemus trousers.

The actor may have been there to support director Destin Daniel Cretton, who is a longtime friend and creative partner.

Jordan and Cretton first worked together in 2019 on Just Mercy. Cretton directed and co-wrote the movie, while Jordan starred as civil rights attorney Bryan Stevenson and also took on a producer role. His performance earned him the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture.

During the premiere, Jordan embraced Brand New Day star Tom Holland while Holland was in the middle of a press interview. After returning to the conversation, Holland described Jordan as a “legend.”

Brand New Day, the fourth installment in Holland’s Spider-Man franchise, arrives in theaters on Friday.
