If Soulja Boy can’t claim credit for something, his next move is usually to challenge it.
Just one day after Kai Cenat officially unveiled Streamer University 2026, Soulja Boy jumped on a livestream to demand a spot in the program. He even hinted at potential tension if he wasn’t included. Before long, he came up with an alternative of his own: Rapper University.
On June 9, Soulja Boy took to X and wrote, “If you don’t let me in Streamer University @KaiCenat we beefin. I let u slide the first time.” His post arrived less than 24 hours after Kai Cenat released the trailer for the second edition of the event, which featured him exploring an abandoned college campus.
Later that day, Soulja Boy escalated things by calling out both Kai Cenat and fellow rapper-streamer DDG. In another livestream clip, he said, “Kai Cenat, you got one more chance.” He also suggested that Cenat’s continued collaborations with DDG could create problems between them.
In response to the situation, Soulja Boy revealed plans for Rapper University. While details remain scarce, the title suggests the program will focus on helping aspiring artists sharpen their rap skills under Soulja Boy’s guidance. Whether it becomes a reality remains to be seen, but the announcement has already sparked plenty of reactions online.
Kai Cenat has yet to reveal the official dates for Streamer University 2026. The multi-day program is designed to bring aspiring content creators together, giving them the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in one of today’s fastest-growing and most profitable industries.
The inaugural 2025 event, hosted at the University of Akron, attracted more than one million applications. For the 2026 edition, approximately 150 students are expected to be selected. Applications are currently open through StreamerUniversity.com for prospective students, professors, and club directors looking to take part in the experience.
